We had a nice sunset in Bend this evening. The colors were like I have never seen before. The shot is taken at Drake park, in Bend, OR. Hope you like it... As always, C&C are welcome...

I'm standing up in front of my computer and giving you a slow applause, one of those applauses that if there were 2000 other people in the room, it would slowly build into a standing ovation.

Outstanding! This would make a wonderful picture if this was taken on a lake in a forest or national park, just brilliant!

Thank you, folks, for commenting!

august23: I appreciate a nice metaphor, even though I am not sure if this shot deserves it. Thanks for kind words.

Presha: Yes, I agree. However, most of the lakes in Central Oregon are frozen at this time of the year. This was the best I could do and ask for in early February. I promise more similar shots from much more scenic places once the snow starts melting around us. Thanks for a nice comment. :)

Beautiful. I always enjoy visiting Bend, but have never gotten a sunset quite that nice. Great composition.
