My wife's cousin wants to get into modeling, I am not a model photographer, but I gave it a shot! The last shot with the cell phone was just for a fun Facebook image! Any suggestions?

Thanks....I know I overdone it on #2 that was kinda my idea. The rest of them have skin softening done by the Imagenomic Portraiture Plug-In, and the eyes brightened a little. #1 & #3 Have not had any eye enhancements at all.

Beautiful portraits and model! The only negative thing I can say that others have already said is a little too much softening of the skin.

Technically all of these are great shots Jay. I think 1,3 and four stand out above the rest. I'm loving the metal back drop. Skin doesn't bother me on these. The "over done" skin, not my words, fits the purpose of the shoot.

Amazing shots! They are all very nice but I think 6 would be a favorite!

She has a challenging nose. Skin is wwway overprocessed.

I think your lighting is VERY good in these! Nice posing too, except for in some they accentuate the nose, especially 4 & 5!

I've worked with models before; I don't think she'll make it. How tall is she?

Nice poses and girl but I don't like the heavily smoothed skin

Thanks for all the honest answers everyone! She is already almost 6ft tall.
I have a question about the skin smoothing....is it mainly just #2 that is overdone? I knew it was, but I honestly didn't do a lot of work to the rest of the skin....I did brighten eyes, but only slightly softened the skin with portraiture. I am just curious. I do have a shot of her with no makeup and no post production at all.

There is no hint of any detail in the skin at all. Perhaps the softening from resizing contributes to the effect of over softening the skin.

Other than whats already been said I'd like to see some different facial expressions from her. I like them she has a great look.
