What the date code of the evil shift of the 50L is the one I'm gonna stay far away from. Slowly but surely I will get the 50L

I love this set. She's really got charm, but of course it was you that caught it. Nice work, both of you!

Well, it's hard to advise -- if it were me I'd either go with the 24-70 or the 24-105 because to me they fill a very useful focal range. Each had different strong points, and I can gladly recommend either. But, you have to check with your shooting needs and preference -- do you find yourself wanting/needing something in that range?

Thats whats torturing me, I never go within that range with a zoom. I used a 17-55 quite alot in school on a 7d so that would be the crop version of the 24-70 and yeah it was nice.

But it was never enough to get that Bokeh, I really only use my prime right now. I am going to go down to the local camerashop and start torturing them with my questions. I am so conflicted.

Lots of old stuff but hey I am a student

Nice shot Geno, what lens? I stopped shooting photos, and I just collect gear now.

I know the feeling, I haven't been shooting much either. I do like your second shot there.

oh i know OF them but not how to do them or what they do. Only thing i know about layers is that it lets me edit without messing with the OG file.

may I ask a quick question to everyone?
I just got my 5D and it has not had the fix done, its one of the later models, 3XXXXX serial
should I go ahead and send it off and get the mirror reinforced?

I just hate to send it off so quickly, but...Id hate the mirror to fly off on me, too.
