Just talked to a guy who's going to buy my 30D + Sigma 18-50. 5D here I come!

Now I have to figure out a lens budget. I think I'd be quite happy with just a 35L for a while, then a Sigma 85, 17-40, and 70-200 f4 IS later on.

I have loads of RAW 3200 shots, but the files are enormous and the internet connection here very slow.


5D & 7D (both gripped), 24-105L, 100-400L, 15-85, 50 f1.8, Tamron 28-75, Sigma 12-24, G10, EX-Z55 & U/W housing, A1+10 lenses, tripods, lighting gear, etc. etc.

Hey! I hope some of you old-timers don't mind me sharing shots from my archives -- I've been doing this to celebrate the new thread iteration and to encourage some of the "newcomers"!

So, I was standing on a clifftop viewpoint about 25 miles away from Mt. Hood in Oregon. Even though I got some wider shots, when I put the 100-400 on the 5D, at 340mm it produced this shot, which I'm pretty happy with:
