Just got back from visiting Hot Springs, AR in autumn. Beautiful place, unfortunately my short trip didn't have much good light (almost 100% overcast for two days!) but still some decent shots. All with Tamron 28-75

(my son posed for exactly 1/4 of a second, thankfully I nabbed it with maybe the foot too close to the frame, but oh well)

The top one is a pretty heavy crop, the other two aren't as bad. They didn't come out too bad in my opinion :)

some great images and info in this thread. I have just become the proud owner of a 5d to work alongside my 40d. It is a fantastic camera and shares the same battery as the 40d, i also find the controls to be very similar so i soon felt at home with it. Heres a couple of shots i took after work on bonfire night.

Nice! Wife and I were there 5 days 2 weeks ago and it was beautiful. We stayed at Crater of Diamonds, Lake Catherine and then drove to Hot Springs and then Mount Magazine! Mount Magazine was gorgeous!

OH btw, the ONLY feature that i miss greatly from the 60D is back button focusing. I don't have access to an english manual of the 5D and i was wondering is there any way to do so on the 5D? If so explain how?

Check out C.Fn-04
