anyone wondering the low-light focus performance of this camera... this is shot at 200mm from the back of the club. Just shows what a stellar performer the 5d is! I've even shot in worse light (ISO 3200, 1/80, f2.8), but assisted with the 580 (focus assist only) with the 5Dc - shooting dancers - and not struggled either. Jan 24, 2012 17:09 | #9232 with all due respect, low light focusing is cake with the 580 assist beam. its when the camera has to do it without that it *sometimes* has trouble finding the contrast points for AF. it also depends on the lens obviously, you put some good fast glass on it and you're increasing your chances greatly. raѕιdel ѕlιĸa f l i c k r
