Didn't we pillage your country pretty good? It does look pretty f-ing epic though. Speaking about Vikings I had to dig up this picture I shot last summer whilst my buddy got some new ink. http://farm6.static.flickr.com …84143720_3d7835da93_b.jpg Viking ship. On another note I am picking up the Sigma 50mm 1.4 tomorrow. Anyone that has any experience with it? Yes it's an excellent lens if you get a good copy. Many people would compare it to the 50L. There are plenty of samples on my flickr. - Flickr

I'm considering a classic because I cant afford the mark 2 model at the moment, I want to keep my 50D for sports and wildlife but I do a few kids portraits, often on the move and a few weddings a year. I'm wondering is the 5D worth it, is there anything it can bring to my photography that the 50D cant? what is it like in low light? I can shoot up to ISO 2500 and clean up the 50D shots really well, I'm told the 5D only goes to ISO 1600, but then being full frame I guess it would be letting in more light. will this camera be a worthwhile purchase considering how old it is now and how hard is it to get used to the display set up after the ease of the 50D menu system? Actually the 5D Classic goes to 3200ISO(I beleive, might represent 2500) contrary to popular belief! You have to dive into your custom settings and enable "High" ISO mode where you can set to an "H" in your ISO selection mode. I shoot in similar sounding situations as you and have a 7D as well and just recently purchased the 5Dc for FF capabilities and LOVE it! The high ISO capability of a camera even this old is impressive, and of course the added DoF with the FF advantage is always a plus.
