HDR B&W Armoured Vehicles and Chinook

I am really not a fan of black and white images but when doing some HDR earlier i took the BW option and thought in my opinion they worked pretty well, much better than the normal BW infact.
Ignore the first image antennas, i haven't even processed these after HDR.

Opinions?

All nice, slight halos in all, but most work anyway. Really like the last one.

B&W requires contrast, blacks, whites and some grey, not mostly grey and some of the other two, IMO. but nice pictures

In many of these, like #3, you darkened everything (like the guy at the top) when you darkened the sky.
Adjustment Layers are one answer. Post #9:
