60" Westcott vs 60" Impact Umbrella

Brought a Impact 60" a while ago before the Westcott went down in price... decided I needed a second umbrella in my arsenal, especially after a close call with the impact the other night, realized I needed to have a back up. So I picked up the Westcott (I love my 28" and 50" Apollo) When I opened it I thought it looked a little small, so I decided to compare the two... and in fact yes the Westcott is significantly smaller... seems to be of a higher quality sure, but its odd since its not quite a 60" Umbrella

inconsistency with measuring the size of umbrellas

westcott would tell u that their umbrella is measured by arc length (the distance on the outside of it)
I know my 60" is about 50" in diameter

Im guessing that the impact is 60" in diameter?

There is no standard for measuring umbrellas or octa's and you'll find inconsistencies all over the place.
