Was a pretty good birding weekend. Some of the highlights: American Kestrels, Peregrine Falcons, my first American White Pelican, Northern Harriers, hundreds of Snowy Egrets, assorted sandpipers and plovers, and this Cattle Egret. I was excited to get these pics, and I'm glad I did. (Now if it were only a Peregrine on the Endangered Species sign!) Looks like the egret is standing guard to make sure no one gets in! Enjoy!
