Took a small trip out to the airport today, pretty good results I think!! I thought of Jay (FlyingPhotog) when panning the aircraft hehe.
C+C as always, thanks!

For my taste, the crops seem just a bit tight, especially on the nose to tail shots.

I wanted to have them centered so had to have a pretty tight crop. I think they're fine IMO.

ALN will be proud of you. For me, I'd rather see some room in front for them to "move into".

White balance seems off. Crops are way too tight. Tight crops are good for jp.net, but not for "photogenic" photos. I agree with Frank, "give them room to move into".

I would brighten them up a bit also.

Not to beat a dead bush but I am far from a fan of the A.net crops. But these are a great panning series. Good start!

Ok thanks guys! I will try to re-edit them now and fix em to look better. I'll try fixing the white balance and it won't be easy!

**EDIT**

Better?

Good results on the panning Jan, but the WB (...although improved in some of the second versions), is still off, and some of the captures are just plain boring, and lack lustre. Practice does makes perfect though, so hang in, and keep trying !! ;)

Thank you Altitude! Actually panning wasn't too hard since I just had to follow the plane and hold the camera steady to avoid blur.

Some of us have plenty of trouble doing just that "...just had to follow the plane and hold the camera steady to avoid blur." Age, etc., takes it's toll. :(
