I've been reading Light Science and Magic recently and just picked up a wireless trigger for my flash -- here's a few first attempts of the "bright field" method for lighting glassware.

First and third shots look great. Especially the first, I like the arrangement. Second shot just looks strange. The grey and red look out of place and some what artificial. Just breaks the image up for me.

Looks almost like you caught a sea anemone.
