I have GERD , no biggie usually but these days I"m in a flare up and need more aggressive dose to reduce chest pain , which feels disabling , So now I"m suppose to take 2 pills instead of one but the insurance wont let the prescription get refilled .And I explained why I need it now waiting for them to sort it and have been 3 days without the darn script. pisses me off big time . B Queen ..here

I know you guys have a slanted view on our National Health Service but we seldom have problems like these.

We don't have any kind of private medical insurance, so any meds bought outside a hospital stay are paid for out of my pocket. I did look into insurance, but it would cost more than just paying for the meds myself. If they are real expensive, Health Care will help out. As a family of four, we probably spend well less than a grand every year on meds, but WAY more than that on dental.

Sounds like an awful lot of crap to deal with, Zane. I hope it all works out good for you. I hate playing those kinda games, they are never fun and it seems you can never really win.

Really I could just not do anything and get meds from the scam company but it is principle.

That sucks. I have a friend that had to fight for that too but they approved the double dose.

The ones I take have 50mh Diphenhydramine Hydrochloride plus Anhydrous Lactose, Microcrystalline Cellulose, Maize Starch, Stearic Acid and Silicon Dioxide.

Now don't that sound like fun

Oh yeah.

Only 1 in 8 patients that need the meds I get ever even have a chance of getting them under the NHS if they even managed to properly diagnose MS. The tummy meds Deb needs is a double dose that I doubt they would approve double the approved dosage over there either. Sorry the NHS still sucks

Sorry to let you down Harm, but I just looked at the calander and it seems that it is not yet time for spring to come, still a couple months yet to go. ;)
Besides, winter is glorious. :)
Nice pics.

Hi Jim bear , hows my fav bears family doing ?

All doing good. Work is a bit slow, would not mind a few more BIG contracts. Other than one house I am building, we are doing mostly much smaller jobs. The kids are fine and studying at university.

I hear you on that. I too get stuck wasting time and effort on things based on my principles.

We have been much slower for well over a year now. People either don't have the money to spend, or are leery to spend it right now. The ironic thing is, that if someone wants to get work done, now is a great time to do it, as we are rocking in production, what with good availability of trades and materials.

If I think I'm going to have trouble sleeping, I just take three (3) Tylenol PM or Excedrin PM. They work just fine, and I never have a problem operating a bulldozer.

Brother dear. You are playing with fire. I took three Tylenol PMs last night. This morning I completely forgot that I had tied my bulldozer to the front of the house for safekeeping yesterday afternoon. The results were predictable. Those warnings are serious. :(
