No, I dislike all yogurt at any temperature. My mother fed me too much of that stuff when I was growing up in Europe.

I suspect hot yoga might be good for my old bones, but I'm a wuss when it comes to heat, and I have this innate aversion to all things good for me. ;)

I do my daily stretching exercises with a 67 year old ex Marine Corps Drill Instructor.

I loves yogurt, one of my weaknesses in overeating.

My bones are old too, plus I am a major whiner with heat, but I don't have an aversion to things good for me, in fact I love the feeling of doing them, it is usually the motivation thing that brings me down.

Can you keep up with the young fella? ;)

Have you considered buying a scanner, scanning the slides and then selling the scanner? I bought a used scanner on eBay a couple of years ago, scanned my dad's slides and then sold it for almost the same price I paid originally. It was a lot of work, but out of pocket cash was kept to a minimum.

This is a good idea, and is exactly what I plan to do some day, I have heard of a fair few folks who have done it.. The Nikon Coolscans are supposed to be very good.

In response to Becky's call for project photos, this baby shower cake kept the baker in this house busy most of yesterday.

That cake will be a big hit, it looks great. But, what was YOUR project? ;)

Trying to get her to let him have a taste, or failing that, to take some photos of the work in progress . . .

In a word, NO. But neither can the 18 year olds in the class.

Good Morning. Sleepy here. I really hate waking up to the phone ringing, and finding out that the 2 employees I left for an event did not do several things that I told them to do - including entering the count into the computer for the event. Now it has to be done by the computer gurus, who are not going to be happy, as they had to do this last week for the same reason.

QUOTED IMAGE

Sorry, but I was not permitted to take "in process" shots. She was muttering something about not wanting others to see how messy the kitchen is when something is a work in progress.

Ducky and the umbrella handle are a fudge chocolate cake with orange cream filling. The umbrella is a lemon cake with butter cream filling.

For scale purposes, the blue base is roughly 2'x3'

That is great Tim. Your Wife did a great job on it.

Yes, that is one option. Problem is finding the appropriate scanner...

Problem with the Coolscans is that they aren't supported anymore by the manufacturer and it seems that there are some problems running them on recent Macs...
