:lol: Shedding is a seasonal dumping of hair. Labs just kinda let them go year round but they clean up easy:lol:

She says we could have built at least 3 new labs out of annual let go from each of them.

But before I go...

Bax hid under my desk during a thunderstorm tonight. First time he showed any of this kind of fear. I pretty much ignored him and hope it goes away.

And Bax sheds like Gracie, only on light colored pants ;) and is in constant need of a nail trim too.

Thanks for the comments on my photos everyone.

So she's met Zane?

Maggie dumps hair 365 days a year. She is a hair MACHINE! Gracie, not so much. Her coat is thinner and shorter. She only drops hair on my black or navy blue pants when I'm getting ready for work.

When I use the furminator on Maggie I can get a pup or two every time. On Gracie I might get a little mouse and that's about it.

Gracie seems to put all of her energy into nail growth. Her nails grow faster than any dog I've ever seen! And they're hard as rocks. She gives the dremel a workout!

Bo wasn't really that heavy a shedder, but Sadie used to replace her entire coat on a weekly basis. Bo was also easier to deal with because he loved to be vacuumed. Slip the little brush on the end and he would stand there all day.....break the vacuum out of the closet and Sadie evaporated.

I need a bigger furminator for our dogs. The small one just doesn't cut it anymore.

You know, if they hold still, it's very satisfying to furminate. But Kbob is not gifted at holding still. He will but it's always a battle of wills.

Stopping in for a quick hi!

Dan, I LOLd at your week descriptions and your unwritten books. :)

Zane, your friends shots are good. Can't wait to see yours. :)

Pea, glad to hear the travel to Billings was good. I bet you're excited to get into that house!

Shedding: Ginger is the only one here who we can use the furminator on. But she hates it. Amikah and Luna are light shedders.

I must have missed a page, catching up or something. I didn't see any photos from Chris either.

Going to Kanab tomorrow for vet apts at Best Friends.
No cell or internet there, spending the day to avoid gas costs of going there and back twice. (it's a 2 hour one way trip).

Hey Zane, I only allow Sunny an hour or two in the pasture this time of year. It's too rich for her right now and she puts on too much weight. When the grass dries up she has more access, although I do rotate them between two pastures so they don't overgraze the pasture(s) down to dust.

Pea - good luck with the new place. Hope everything works out for you guys.

Tim

HA! :lol::lol:

My two shedders will stand still for about 2 minutes a day.....that isn't near enough time, but that is all you are going to get. I guess some is better than none.
