Cute pup! The DOF looks a little shallow for my taste. I like that it's nice and level though and that nothing in the background is too distracting.

Crop a little tighter and use the rule of 3rds. I would also bump up the exposure so the eyes are not as dark. This may be done with fill flash or over all increase in exposure.
