Heck of a model.... Really nice photography. Personally I always felt if they made more "Doras", there wouldn't be any B-17 reunions.....

Great looking model & good images of it. I'm not sure that the dead grass adds to the realism. Would we leave tree branches laying around on the apron? ;)

I dunno - I think the grass background blends in pretty nice to the modeled diorama. Nicely captured images either way.

True the Doras were great airplanes, very capable but to really make that kind of a difference they would have needed thousands of TA-152's and well trained pilots. Even the Doras still didn't do great at altitude like a P-47 would.

thanks guys it was a fun build only one of the markings is a decal the rest were painted with stencils. The nose markings were difficult to get just right. It is a 1/32 hasegawa by the way. I did not see the tree branches on the base the ground crew vill be disciplined! Here is another since you mentioned P- 47

You do nice work, I used to do this sort of thing in my teens, but not to the standard you achieve.

Love the b&w P-47 Thunderbolt (?) by the way.

Keep 'em comin'.

Beautiful models. It's been ages since I've built any modes, but I can really appreciate the work you put in to these.

Not the background grass. The stuff that looks like tree branches under the FW.

Incredible modeling and photography.

I used to build models quite a bit. I should get back into it.
