Going to be pricey I'm guessing, $4-5k+???
$6-7K easy, is my guess. but imagine the flexibility -- no need to reach into your bag for the 1.4x nice going Canon thats very clever

Nikon has a 200-400 f4 VR lens that is a little under $7000. Canon's 70-200 f2.8 IS MKII exceeded's Nikon's 70-200 f3.8 VR II (although it is better). I suspect this will be similar in price if not a little more expensive to the Nikon. Will | WilliamLiuPhotography.com

There are a good number of professional sports photographers who love the Nikon 200-400 for day time and early evening games. SOSKIphoto

The only L I have almost brought on couple of occasion. I would like to see if they will replace it. I can live with not having F4, only place that I would use that lens is outdoor day time. Not an indoor lens. Traveling is my passion, so I am a major Frequent Flyer.
