Naw don't bother buying - you'll have a heck of a lot of trouble selling a rhino on - just to to "Rent-a-Rhino" and hire one for a few days

Tools of the trade: Canon 400D, Canon 7D, Canon 70-200mm f2.8 IS L M2, Sigma 120-300mm f2.8 OS, Canon MPE 65mm f2.8 macro, Sigma 150mm f2.8 macro, Tamron 24-70mm f2.4, Sigma 70mm f2.8 macro, Sigma 8-16mm f4.5-5.6, Raynox DCR 250, loads of teleconverters and a flashy thingy too

^^^ That's what I was thinking. Just tell the safari guide that you have an extra $5k in it for him if he gets you within 300mm range of the best animals.

And to make sure the engine didn't stall! :D

Actually, a really GOOD guide, and plenty of cash, would mean all we had to take was a 24-70, and a BIG engine.....

If you can afford this lens, you can afford a rhino too. And you can train him to do your bidding.

But what would I do with my elephant...I can't afford BOTH! :(

Lots of Rhinos on ebay, they don't look too dangerous to photograph to me. :)

The rhino would be an investment because you could sell off the baby elephinos at a tidy profit.

Yes but how do you fit the Rhino on the camera, and can rhinos zoom?

Strap camera to rhino
Send rhino charging (foot zooming) in on your subject
Use remote shutter to take the shot :)

It worries me that this seems like a logical course of action :p

Just don't use it for self portraits and you should be okay.
