Unlike the XXD with all cross type sensor. aladyforty wrote in post #11792186 yes I guess you are right, in any case I will stick with the XX series, I prefer the heavier cameras and the ergonomics of them Traveling is my passion, so I am a major Frequent Flyer.

Pretty lame upgrade. Usually the newest Rebel gets a new sensor, so unless I see something cool from upcoming review samples, I am underwhelmed. Taylor

I'm in the Rebel/xxd price bracket and Canon seems to be giving us the finger lately. The T2i was nice, but the 60D, T3i and T3 are laughable "upgrades". Taylor

It takes the 50D's place as the mid level camera, with some nice upgrades over the 50D. You just lose MA, but you did gain HD, wireless flash, faster AF, and a better weather seal body. It was design for the same purpose as the 50D, a upgrade for the rebel owner. Traveling is my passion, so I am a major Frequent Flyer.

Don't worry, the 7D mark II won't come out for another year or a half.

I'm glad my t2i is safe from an upgrade for another year...T3i flip screen is sooo blah!..wireless flash support is pretty cool..definitely not a deal breaker tho...canon is becoming like GM, too many models doing the same thing...too many creations not enough innovation! | Canon Rebel T2i Gripped | EF-S 17-55 2.8 IS USM | EF-S 18-55 IS | EF-S 55-250 IS | EF 50 1.8 MK II | EF 85 1.8 USM | Speedlite 430EX II |
