all canon's will have the swivel screen for sure.

Dual compact Flash might be just a tad of a over kill with 600x cards that are out there now and faster ones coming soon, but would be a nice add on. CF and SDXC might not happen if they go dual CF. No room really.

It will most likely have the digi5 when they come out with the new FF camera.

There will be a new sensor for sure.

You think canon is GM, look at sony, how many models they have before the 2 new entry form canon. But for video and tripod work, the swivel is a very nice add.

Whew!!! I'm glad my t2i is safe from an upgrade for another year...T3i flip screen is sooo blah!..wireless flash support is pretty cool..definitely not a deal breaker tho...canon is becoming like GM, too many models doing the same thing...too many creations not enough innovation!

How many did they exactly push out? 5 models? 10?

Good marketing? Yay or nay?

.

Dual flash is for redundancy, not extra space, though. So size of card is irrelevant. People shooting events especially like the comfort of having a copy of each file go to 2 cards.

I thought it was, shoot until once card fills up and then on to the next card.

Most people I know that shoot events have 2 body's for redundancy, with equivalent ranges.

Anybody read what battery it uses? I want to make the upgrade since I do video and love the swivel display.

I would like to use my grip and batteries since I just bought them but I imagine that since the body change it likely wont fit. :(

NVM. Just found it! F-YEAH ITS LP-E8 and BG-E8!!! Hooray!

Like most people who are getting these from a video perspective, each new Canon Model has been a huge upgrade. 7D, T2i, 60D, and now T3i, each one got more and more video users. I almost waited to buy until the T3i because I expected swivel display, but I got the T2i and I'm very happy that all my accessories are forward compatible!

Now I will probably be drooling waiting for the 7DII so I can have weather sealed + swivel + more.
