With the t3i, what's the point of the 60D?!

A large majority of those who post on the subject appear to believe their preference is universal and obviously correct.

An some people like both. I alternate between the 40D and the T1i, depending on the length of the shoot, the versatility, and how much I have to pack.

idk. I think $800 for a new t3i seems a bit high.

No way T3i bodies will be selling for $800 IMO. Street price will probably be around $700... and they'll drop after that with deals showing up in the low $600s commonly.

Put a decent lens on any of these cameras and you will be perfectly happy.

The T2i is barely under $700 after a full year and the T1i is just under $600 after 2 years. So, yes, depending how long you are willling to wait, you may be right.
