Big Bend National Park collection, my 2009 trip

I've finally finished my photographic collections from my December 2009 visit to Big Bend National Park in remote southwestern Texas.

If you have the time, also view the Big Bend - Other Collection with many good photographs from the park as well. My visit was much different than most that visit the park since my weather had temperatures between 25 and 45 degress with snow - which only happens about once a year at Big Bend.

Thanks. I went in early December. I had weather between 25 and 45 degrees but 2 weeks before it was 60s and 70s, then a week after I left it was 80 again. It's a big place and I spent all my time, 2.5 days, in just the Chios Basin area and stayed in the lodge - on the side backed up to The Window area. Great view. I'd love to go there again, though it's such a remote location and hit Big Bend after visiting someone in Texas as I live in Ohio.
