How would I correct the pink tinge on skin?

Ok here is my try at the corrections using a mix of what was suggested, is it ok?
I really appreciate all the help

@peano nice work. @op in Camera Raw you can get something of a head start on that by decreasing the magenta.

Since every one else is posting here, Ill join too. Here is my quick edit on it.

IMAGE NOT FOUND
HTTP response: NOT FOUND | MIME changed to 'image/png'


Basically its a few different curves adjustments on each channel that are masked off to effect specific tones, and a channel mixer to darken the skin a little. Some of the mask could be better done to clean up some of the color spill, but you get the idea. If you want the psd file to take a look at it let me know.

I think your selection boundary is a bit off, particularly around the baby's head. After I inverted the selection I did a Select > Refine Edge with the following settings: Smooth = 0, Feather = 3.0, Contract/Expand = -38. I suspect that the settings will be different for your full-size image, though, than they are for this small JPG. Note that Contract/Expand is expressed in percent, although percent of what, I don't know. I just tweaked the settings while watching the black background preview. (NB: this was done in Elements.)

Your result is the upper left crop, mine is the lower right.
