i bit overexposed on the far right pic i think, the jacket and rock(?) look like they are starting to become one-in-the-same, and im not really feeling the rounded boarder, but other than that they have nice feel to them

Wish there was more to see in the 3rd picture. Perhaps less black empty space.

Im not sure if I understand the purpose of these photos. Is he the artist? If so then what is hit art?

If he is an artist try to get some shots of what he actually does. For example, If he is a tattoo artist then you would have him possibly with his shirt off, dramatic lighting maybe, adding a little vibrance if they are colored tatoos etc.

Just my opinion.

I like them overall. the blurry bit of rock in the foreground is the only thing that bugs me - plus they look a little soft on the focus (but maybe that's resive/host site, etc?)

I think you've got a good starting point at developing a style that's all your own.
