refreb is not just return camera, but are also camera that are taken off the line for testing. When they go back into the system for sale, they can not sell the test as new. So they get classified as refreb.

Canon 60D, T1i/500D, Eos 1, Eos 630, and Olympus epl-1. Current Canon Lenses ef 100 2.8, ef 85 1.8, ef 50 1.4, ef 28 1.8, ef 50 1.8,ef 28-135, ef 70-300, ef-s 18-55, ef-s 55-250, 500D close up lens. Current Olympus lenses oly m4/3 14-42, oly 4/3 35mm 3.5 macro with m4/3 adapter, panasonic 45-200, panasonic 20 1.7. And a Part time Pentax K-X shooter.

And all the test demo that were at the canon events. So canon still want to sell them, instead of having a bunch of them sitting around. So anything that re-enter the supply chain is a refreb. New, demo or repaired, canon fixed or clean them up, white box them and off they go to a customer wanting to save some money.

Makes no sense to purchase a "refurb" when they're $900 new online and most have to pay tax at Canon.

Yeah, with Tax (7% in my state) the refurb would be $850 anyway. I suppose if you live in one of those special states with no sales tax, it might be a great buy.
