So I'm looking to expand my photography ability. I mainly shoot events and/or photo shoots. I've never done any sort of landscape before, so I decided to try some this past week. Went to a local park here in NJ and tried my hand at it. Would love some constructive criticism to improve the pics.

Thanks!

My suggestion is pick your two favorites and embed them as suggested in the sticky on posting pix.
Flickr lets you download the bbcode from the share menu.
This helps potential commenters.

My 2 Cents
When you are shooting events, instead of capturing large crowds of people, you would usually zero in on a subject to tell the story about your event. This is also true with landscape photography. Find a subject and allow that subject to tell the story about where you are and the emotions you feel. If the scene is too busy, start to zero in on things like detail, texture, etc. I think I prefer images #4026 & #4043. Not bad for a first time out & if you enjoyed it, pursue it. Landscape photography can take you to so many different beautiful places trying to get "THAT ONE GREAT SHOT" and you will experience things in a whole new light. Just like anything else, it takes practice.
Keep Shooting!

Thanks, I really did enjoy it and look forward to doing more.

And your suggestion really help, I do appreciate your input. I really want to improve, and after looking at some of the shots on here, I know there are people who can help lead me in the right direction.
