Set up, Lightbox, two lights at 7 and 4, Lens 50 1.8 T1i on tripod.

Which is why most of the pictures appear soft except a very skinny part of the object. Try making the aperture smaller to get more in focus if that is something you are going for. My Flickr

Feb 08, 2011 17:30 | #7 If you want sharpness for these closeups you might try focus stacking. It's a little more work but results can be very nice. You can check it out in the Macro Forum. Otherwise I'd try stopping down more to f16 and use a flash if necessary. -- Image Editing OK --
