UWA junkies - looks like our begging may have paid off!

Here's to hoping that it's razor-sharp with minimal distortions! (or a Photoshop or DPP hack to fix them...)

That's the price of the previous version.

By the way, the new 12-24 is a non EX version. I wonder why...

Sigma MSRP is always high. An example is their latest release, the 85mm 1.4.

85mm 1.4:

MSRP: $1,400
Street Price: $900

So if this one is also MSRP $1,400 expect the street price to be $900.

Sigma changed their EX classification recently, now only constant aperture ones get EX designator. Reason why 8-16 is not EX either.

Though the ultra wide aspect was fun, the old version's sharpness left me wanting. Hopefully this new one is better in that department. (although it may be a moot point since the only UWA I have my eye on is the Zeiss 21)
