Vacation photos, old planes, fast boat, gun boats.

Took these while on vacation in Cozumel last week & the week before. I think one of the aircraft have appeared here before, but I don't know what the trainers are. I'm pretty sure the jet was what the RCAF designated as a T 33 Starfighter. Those were shot with my 7D. The gun boats were shot (quickly from a fast moving boat) using my G9 in it's underwater housing. One of the gun boats had cut off the dive boat & ordered us to make a wide pass of an area around the Iberostar Resort because the Mexican President was making a visit (3rd one in a month). One of the other divers was a bit worried when I stood up to take the photos, but I really didn't think it was risky.

And this was shot with the 7D while enjoying the view from the hotel's balcony. I counted 5 of them going by and they all had full loads of cruise ship passengers getting a high speed thrill.

The Jet is a Shooting Star and the prop is a Fennec

The starfighter was the F-104

Thanks for the correction & naming of the trainers. I'll try to learn a bit more about them.
