They're restoring a B-17 not too far from where I live. Look how small the belly turret is!

Umm its Champaign Urbana -Illinois Rantoul was the town outside of Chanute AFB Air Training Command base for lots of years. I don't know about the SAC affiliation. I was a tech instructor there.

Good shots,they show the incredible amount of work that restoring a warbird takes. My Grandson fit pretty good in the ball turret,but He is 5'6" and only weighs about 130 . Lots of courage to go into combat in one.
