Great capture jdizzle. We loved Bermuda. Haven't been there in 25 years, but looks just like I remember.

BTW, how'd you get that lens on that body.....ductape?

Thank you J. As far as getting the lens on my camera. I used the 16-9 adapter which converts the lens to EF mount. Real easy to do. :)

amazing shot. care to share how the shot was taken? aperture, filters etc... just a new shooter here.

Well, the only way to use this lens is in AV mode. It uses spot metering to capture the exposure. You would have to use Live View and MF focus. What I do in LV is move the white box and it gives me a proper exposure with the live histogram. I did not use any filters here and used two exposures to blend for the foreground and sky. :)

Nice Julian, how do you find the 14-24 on the Canon? I would have thought you'd be whipping out the 17TS ;-)a

The Nikon 14-24 is a nice lens but, I'm still getting the hang of it. Come to think of it, I should've used the 17 TS instead. :)

No problem. Both were shot at f/16. Sky exposure was 1 second and the foreground was 6 seconds. :)

Great picture. I am new to photography and PS and would love to know how you were able to get the final product. Care to let me know how to use PS to produce this?

Wow; I love it when all the highlights in the sky are held and the foreground is still detailed. This is quite a surprise to see you did not use your filters; great job blending!

Here you go guys. Here's a simple east to follow tutorial on exposure blending. Let me know if you have any questions. :)
