What I've heard from respected color management authorities is you will get a decent profile, but your white temperature will be off by over 500k either direction.

I think if you prefer X-Rite products, the ColorMunki is the way to go as it's a spectrophotometer, not a colorimeter.

I've calibrated a few wide gamut screens with mine - successfully, but it's touchy.

I yearn for the i1Display3 ... if there will be such a thing.

I doubt it... I think the ColorMunki will be the main X-Rite consumer product when the Display2 is retired.

That's just the iOne Display 2. Certainly not an "upgrade" from the venerable DTP-94/Monaco Optix Pro puck. I think the DTP-4 was simply discontinued as it directly competed and was redundant with the Display2. I still believe the DTP-94 is the best colorimeter available.
