nice! its pretty cool the intakes shut closed and use vents from the top when taxiing.

I've always thought so. We, OTOH, would rather have a buncha' guys walk the runway looking for stuff to pick up. I think it's the NIH syndrome.

Could you imagine a F-15 landing or taking off of a dirt road or a field? The Russians figured a MiG-29 ought to be able to.

I saw a pic of one of their runways once. It had weeds 3' tall growing out of it.
In at least one of the Scandinavian countries they land on roads all the time.
