Hey Guys and Gals!

Here is a shoot that I just got through doing for a friend of mine that is an musician... Please let me know what you think... I shot these with my friends 7d body and my 50d...

Lens used were: 24-70L, 70-200L f:2.8 non IS, 50mm f:1.4

I have to say... I have fell in love with the 7d and am saving my pennies...

Please click on the link to see more... I would really appreciate any input...

All were shot with natural light except for a few that I used my 580exii (2) on stands...

Thanks again!
Jason

Thank you for the input... When you say over processed what would you have done different?

You mentioned he was a musician. I would suggest you add whatever instrument he plays into the pictures. Other than that I really don't care for most of his expressions. 4 is probably the best out of the bunch.

I just got my first pair of glasses that I didn't think I needed. I apologize to anybody in the past year that I said their pictures were out of focus lol.

Thanks for your input... He did not want any of the instruments that he plays in the photos...

I too feel they are a bit over processed. There is no detail in the highlights and the color ones he has a touch too much red in places like his ears and nose and his lips too. Most of them the eyes look a touch soft as well. On the good side I like a lot of the compositions that you have chosen especially like 5 and 6 in this series.

it seems you over sharpened them with the clarity tool in LR, or unsharp mask in PS
