Well here it is my very first big publication! I’ve had some of my work published before but not on a scale this size and I’m totally delighted!

I think of myself being very lucky amongst the photography community, I have friends on this site, other forums, blogs, flickr and in real life of whom push me to the bottom of the ladder in terms of quality landscapes and these are the guys I would love to see being published.

I have a 3 page spread in the March issue of Digital SLR Photography magazine – seen here (external link) - the first 2 pages seen below have been taken up with a shot I took last year in Austria. The 3rd page contains 3 more images which I have labelled below, with each image is a short description with regards to set up, exposure etc

Included in the shot below is a rather large glass of my favorite German beer, Paulana...

Strobist: Canon 430 EX II - High Camera Right - 60cm Softbox - 1/4 Power - Fired with Yongnuo RF-602..

+10000

Simply amazing shots! Congratulations it must have been such a great feeling when you saw your pictures in the magazine for the 1st time. I sold a picture of mine a few months back and I couldn't remove the smile on my face for a week for I have only been shooting for a year I felt all my hard work may actually pay off down the road.

Congrats again! I will make sure I show support and pick up the issue.
