what printers can print onto a CD/DVD?

I believe the feature I'm looking for is called a "CD tray". This enables you to print an image right on the surface of a CD or DVD (provided you use a CD or DVD with a printable surface).

It seems that these printers were popular a few years ago, but are now hard to find. I have searched B&H, and am unable to find a way to filter searches for printers with this feature. I have also exhausted my local retail sources - Best Buy, Staples, Office Max, etc. Nobody locally seems to carry printers with this feature anymore.

If anyone uses this feature on a printer and is pleased with the results, please let me know the make/model of your printer.

My all-in-one Epson Artisan 835 does CD's but I haven't used that feature, yet.

the US version of the canon pixma pro9000 mkII will with a bit of hacking..those sold overseas come natively with the ability. You can buy the cd tray off of ebay and find the hack online easy enough

I picked up the Epson 835 and it does an GREAT job on CDs. Pretty much all I use it for. The software takes a little getting used to, but once you get the hang of it, piece of cake.

My canon mg5220 has the feature. The software that came with it would not work on my system. So i went oout and bought acousta Cd lable maker.
