These were from my first wedding of the year. The couple was married in Mexico in December and held the reception back home in January. Unfortunately I wasn't hired for the wedding, just the reception.

It was a fast night but I was still able to get creative with the bride and groom.

Thank you!

These are all done with Speedlites and a 5DC.

The first is done with two Speedlites through umbrellas, one (fill) behind camera and one (key) camera left. The 2, 3, 5, 6 and 7 are done with a single Speedlite and shoot-through umbrella mounted on a monopod, held by an assistant, and the last is a bare 580 on a stand and one on camera for fill.

They are all shot using either the 24-70 or 70-200 2.8.

Thanks for all of the compliments!

Scott

For this wedding, the B&G received 477 photos. They only hired me for three hours so that was plenty.

There was no package, the photography and images were a la carte, and there was no album. Not my typical wedding by any means.

well that is strange that the bride/groom didn't want an album.

Beautiful images! I really like the silhouette with what almost looks like the moon behind them.
