I know a lot of people probably ask this same question over and over.. well im gonna do it now also ha.. anyways i wanna take my photography to the next level.. and then keep moving up and going to school/classes etc, Eventually making this a part-time job possible full time later on.. I know for a fact im not gonna buy something then get bored with photography.. ive always wanted to be a photographer and have a passion doing it.. So with that said the Canon 60D or 7D?? I would be doing a lot of portrait work with children and adults, environmental portraits, some landscapes/ Military operations since im in the Army and have been deployed to afghanistan already there is a possibility in the future to go back and i would do some sports but mainly baseball and gymnastics possible.... Do i really need the 7D... ive been hooked onto the 7D to buy but reading things about the 60D makes me curious.... should i just go with the 7D instead of the 60D since i know im gonna be doing this for awhile, or go with a 60D now and spend that extra money on better lens.... any info is great, thank you

Neither if you want to focus on portraits & landscapes. Either a 5D Mark II or a 5D classic if you don't have the budget.

Go with a used 5D and a good lens!

Used 5Ds on Amazon starting at around $900: http://www.amazon.com …247&sr=8-2&condition=used (external link)

Whichever you can afford. The one he is referring to is the original 5D.

I'd say get the best lens you can, not sure what you have now. Then figure out what camera you can get.
