I'm a littlle lost on this one. Care to explain a little more? What is "VA Photography" and why do you need forum names??

You can take my 100-400 L away when you pry it from my cold, dead fingers.

I am working on creating a photography forum dedicated to Virginia photographers. I'm hoping by doing this we can get some photography work shops going in certain areas that currently see nothing. Also, this site will be geared towards graphic design as well. I spend most of my internet time on a VA based car site. There are many good/great young photogs there, with all of the other junk it's hard to post your work, unless it revolves around cars. This is just in the works and I'm hoping all goes well. I was just just posting on here to get some ideas as far as names.

Please, call me Steve.

If you are trying to get some photography workshops in the SE VA area then I am all for it. DC/NoVA gets all the fun.

My attempts
Virginia Imaging and Enhancement Workshops (VIEW) club

Virgnia Artists Self Teaching (VAST) club

Virginia Imaging And GRAphics club (I will let you all make the acronym out of this one) :)

Virginia Artists and Imagers Limited (VAIL)
Virginia Imagers and Artists Limited (VIAL)

Virginia Artists and Masters of Photography (VAMP) [my personal favorite]

Graphic designers And Photographers Of Virginia (GAPOV)

It is very hard to find a good acronym with V and P in it and adding G is even harder.

If you wanted it more localized you could get away with something like

Photographers Team and Graphic designers of Hampton Roads (PTGHR) which almost sounds like photographer without the vowels.

Just some thoughts.

You'd probably go high in the search engines with "Virgin Automotive Guys"!? ;)

Good idea.....I really like the idea of a forum dedicated to Virginia photographers. It'll be nice to swap photography location ideas.

I'm in Roanoke and would also like to see what could be cobbled together. It seems there's some interest.
