Looking for a deal US deal on Tamron 70-300 VC for Canon.

Besides the $50 Tamron USA rebate, is there any discount? I want to keep that 6yr USA warranty so it must be from a USA authorized dealer.

Saw a few lenses on Amazon Warehouse (not Amazon). I don't think it qualifies for the $50 Tamron USA rebate though.

I remember seeing a 15% Tamron coupon for Newegg before Xmas last year. Anything like that?

FWIW, Tamron has their reps currently going to the local (PA/NJ) camera stores for expeditions, and are loaning (free) their lenses for the expeditions. In addition to the $50 off on the 70-300 VC, my other half got an additional $25 off. You have to buy the lens from the local camera store to get both of the rebates. The price is the same as NYC stores.

it is good to support local businesses, but since you'll pay ~$25 in sales tax in PA / NJ you're not going to save much in comparison with buying from an NY store.

My local sales tax in AZ is ~9%. The rebate basically covers the tax. To be honest, I get better service from Amazon with free shipping + no tax. The local stores are not exactly friendly either. The sales are very good at selling $100 UV filter without multi-coating. I usually just rent lens from them when I need something fast for the weekend trip.
