Beautiful natural light! Looks like a peaceful place.
I had a really relaxing time wandering around there for a couple hours, and the light really was beautiful ... did most of my work for me!

It is always the way, we lose pristine forests and bushlands everywhere in the world for the same reasons.
The only access points at either end are from housing developments, and the fourth side is the bypass but, fortunately the people I work for (the Wiltshire Wildlife Trust) are probably the reason why even that section remains and do their best to preserve areas like this from disappearing completely ... another woodland nearer to my home is set to either have the current nature reserve extended into the neighbouring fields, or - perhaps more likely - have that area built on right next to the reserve's current borders. There's plenty of brown field sites and increasing numbers of derelict buildings inside the existing town that could be developed ... anyway, thanks for your interest!
