I like them quite a bit.
I find doing work like that is always fun, however from my experiences not many people appreciate it.

Thanks vroom. That is also how I feel. They are more intended as minimalist accent pieces, or a part of a series, than stand-alone landscape shots like we often find here. I've been working on a whole abstract/conceptual group of these for awhile. Here are some more:

I love these! The disguised subject allows the viewer to appreciate the color, tone, and symmetry present in the photographs.

Very nice set - I like the second set of photos you have submitted - 1st of that set, great colours..

For the benefit of others can you mention a little about how you created such a look for the first 2..

Great set and I think they would make a great series of prints; however the second-to-last shot does nothing for me....too much realism compared to all the others.

I'd certainly give them a nice wall space :-)

Very nice set I like the mood of all with #4 being my favorite simplicity but very surreal.

Thanks everyone. As for how I did it, it's just as simple as moving the camera. Since I have a small obsession with always asking 'why not?' i figured I'd lose the tripod for a sunset/sunrise and see what I could come up with. Pan left, right, up down, whatever - no rules really, just make sure the camera moves :)

Really like the mimimalistic style. Reminds me of Murray Fredericks of the SALT documentary. His work is incredible.
