Here is a picture of a goose I snuck up on and took its picture. It was sitting on the grass about 50 ft away from the pond at a local park. Any comments are welcome.

In the first photo, the goose looks out of place, in the second the goose is lost against the grass. If you had gotten low on the ground and shot a profile of that goose with the same exposure and dof, it would have been great. Dennis

Sep 20, 2005 22:13 | #7 Getting low would have been absolutely impossible because there was about 60 geese and 100 sea gulls and this guy was the last one to move and two kids were running for them. He took off about 1 second after taking this picture he not only got up but flew away. If it was up to me I would have stuck the camera on the grass and shot it from an ants perspective but birds are most uncoopertive animals. Especially Canada's version of the pigeon. Christopher J.
