Hey everyone! I am doing some team photos on March 2nd and 3rd; and for the individual shots I am going to be using a muslin backdrop. The shots will be mid thigh & up, with various props (lacrosse sticks, baseball bats, soccer balls, etc) for spring sports.
The uniforms will vary from bright red, to a brilliant blue, and maybe some white with red & blue accents.
I have been contemplating basic gray or black, but I would prefer something with a little bit of a varying color so that you cannot really see any wrinkles in it and so that it makes the photo POP a little more. Although, the black would make their colors really stand out.
Here are some of the team shots I did for them for the last two seasons to give you an idea of their colors:

Which color scheme would you guys recommend? Or do you think straight black would work well to make them stand out? My one issue with straight black is that this will most likely be shot with one light and a reflector for fill. So, I really won't have any separation for people with black hair.
I have been looking at the backdropoutlet.com for muslins: http://www.backdropoutlet.com/products.asp?dept=1246
I have 4 lights, but I will be using 3 on the teams and don't really make enough off of these shoots to justify purchasing a 5th light right now. My team photos are outside, so I may be able to spare a 2nd light for my other shooter to use for a hair light.
Also, I really don't want to spend more than $100 on this. I am looking for 10x10.
Ok, all that being said, what would you guys do? haha
Thanks for your help!
