This gentleman's family recently threw him a surprise 80th birthday party at Lawry's in Beverly Hills. You might remember them from a recent portrait session. I gotta say, he does not look 80! He's aged very well.

If you've ever eaten at Lawry's, you know how good the prime rib is! I enjoyed my meal and had a blast covering this special occasion. Here's just a small sampling. Thanks for looking!

Please see the full set here...

My wife and I absolutely LOVE Fogo. We have one in Scottsdale and it's our "go to" place for special occasions.

V-Wiz...thanks! I haven't been there, but thanks for the tip! I just checked out the website, and it's now on my list of places to visit! That's for sure!

Gig103...thanks! There is one photo of the prime rib on the link. I have a few others but didn't post them. Man, just writing about it makes me want it again!

Tim, I always love seeing your work. It is always so wholesome. Also prime rib is my all time favorite and I can just imagine how good it is there. I have my couple favorite spots back here in Michigan that we will drive 2.5 hours just for the prime rib.

I just got my first pair of glasses that I didn't think I needed. I apologize to anybody in the past year that I said their pictures were out of focus lol.

ilzephyrli...the majority of shots were with flash. Only a few slideshow and food shots were with ambient.

rockfordhx...thank you very much!

locky...thank you very much! I appreciate the kind words. You are a true meat lover to drive 2 1/2 hours!

Man I opened this post without seeing who the OP was... saw part of the first pic and was like "Hey I wonder if Tim Park took these." I guess my eyes didn't lie to me lol.

Tim great shots as always. Can you share your PP a bit if you don't mind?

Tim "Knocking it Out of the Park" Park.

Echoing the poster above, I recognised the style before I saw your name. It's a signature style that stands out. You delivered in a way that is elegant, apt to the occasion of the gentleman's birthday.

Prime Rib sounds wonderful Tim, don't get that here in China. Wonderful pictures as always. Love the girls jumping saw the one of them standing all prim and proper on the website but prefer the jumping one much more character.

Tawcan...thank you very much! I always appreciate your comments! My pp can be a bit tedious at times, so I won't go into too much detail. But once I saw the restaurant, I had a certain vision of what I wanted to pictures to look like. The lighting was very yellow, so I desaturated the yellows quite a bit and then muted the overall colors as well. I also played around with a couple things that changed the skin tones just a bit.

IrishK...thank you very much! That's really kind of you to say! It really does mean a lot to me to know that my style is recognizable!

aemravan...thank you! It was a great celebration, and I was glad to be a part of it!

Sam...thanks man! Lawry's has some of the best prime rib around! I have so many of the girls jumping. I could have posted five or six!
