My camera shy golden likes the flash about as much as I do. Every time I put the flash on the camera and get near her she shuts her eyes. Oh well. ;)

looks like you're using a direct flash on her...poor thing's going blind! try bouncing it off the ceiling instead, she may be more receptive of that. My dog did the same thing to me the other day, then I realized I had the flash pointed straight at her. I'm sure she was seeing spots for a couple mins afterwards! :(
