celebrating a photograph

Just browsing on space.com and found this, which might be interesting for some.

this is case where people are getting together to celebrating a photograph, which I find amazing.

They are getting together for an event that takes place every 19 years and, are trying to take a photograph of something that is already been taken and already taken well.

I am not 100% sure, since I can't see that far, but I believe so.

ummm..I bought a nice copy of that photo at wally world for five bucks and then went out side to take pictures of my cat. cheaper than going out west...ROFL

it'd be neat to see all the folks out tho' kinda like burning man, but not as wierd..

Ok, whos nerdier:

The photographers who want to re-create the photo?
The Group who built a computer model to show when it was taken, and when it will repeat
Or us for being interested?
