Most look a little washed out unless that was the look you were going for. And I would straighten the last picture.

I am sure there is a lot of thought behind this look but most mortals like me would just think that you got moisture condensation on the lens.

Yeah they all look like you had a veil over your lens or something. Soft and washed out. Try sharpening them up a bit and playing with the contrast.

They're too flat to my taste, but it's a personal preference. Nonetheless try playing with contrast a bit more - I think it would look so much better especially against blah and baren backgorouds.

They are flat, but I don't think it's because of the post processing completely. I think your exposures were way off when you shot them. If you were shooting in any sort of auto mode, the camera is going to try and make all that snow and white dresses 18% gray, which is going to give you an extremely underexposed image. You can then bring it up in post, but it's not the same.

As the old saying goes, "Get it right on film". Makes post MUCH easier as well. They also look really, really blue on my color corrected screen.

As to the barren winter, just know that snow can greatly simplify your background and create some amazing images... ;)

Yea the flatness was something I did in post. I'll post up some others tonight for compairison. I was just kinda playing around with stuff that the cliet said she liked, she seemed to like them, but i think I pushed it too far.

i usually like the flat post-processed look, but I usually like them on warmer photos... These seem to cold to be so flat, if that makes sense...

I know you said it's what the bride likes, but like you said, they seem to be pushed a little too far. It might work on one or two pictures, but it looks weird on all of them together.

Flat isn't always bad for a few shots but when everything you post is...yeah, it is.

I am agreeing with you 100% haha. I'll blame it on the lightroom madness, staring at sliders and hundreds of images for too many hours. I'm really only liking 2 and 3 right now.

Here are some unedited ones for comparison.

I think I prefer the unedited ones, particularly the first. I like the warmth of the natural light, and the edited image looses a little something.
