Great winter series, I'm SO looking forward to my bluebirds returning! Should be the end of next month!

[QUOTE=kenn3d;11828608]Thanks everybody for your comments...

"He is especially merciless--."
Ours are that way, but we don't have bluebirds around here, close anyway, but they will attack most anything, including us. heh

"Oh, and I'm glad you liked the Eurasian... I should mention that this is really not a "plain jane" variety sparrow." :)
Ohhhh, I see it now, I saw it as, "European" this morning, now I see what you mean, I assumed that this was a breeding color.
(I thought it looked prettier than usual)
Pretty cool that you have birds that are only in your area, I believe that I read about that here once, and just 'plain ol' forget' heheh

Thanks for the explanation, I learned something new every day.

Another great set, Kenn, as usual. I enjoyed them all, especially seeing the bluebird. However, that last closeup of the mocking bird is tops here. Superb image.

Outstanding series Kenn, that's some variety you put together. Spring still hasn't sprung here, last two mornings below freezing after a cold and wet week. Soon I'll be griping about the heat. :)

Thanks Liz,
We'll be looking forward to seeing your Blues again this year too! :)
Best luck to you and them.

Hey Randy, Yeah we sure think it's cool to have them here too. They are both prettier and much more welcome than the common House Sparrows.

Hi Harvey, Thanks a lot. We love to shoot up close to see the details... and always enjoy sharing them here.

Thanks Holger. That Mocker is Bold... (in fact that is his name). He comes very close and poses for us without fear. :)

Thanks a lot Steve, Ha we just caught a break here this week-end (mid 50s!)... but it will take some days of mid-50s before our ice and snow melts away. And it will sure be hot here come late Spring too. But I know we'll both be out shooting anyway. :)

Thanks again to all who commented,

Kenn
